Downhill SkiingHarrachov is the key winter sports centre of the western Krkonoše. From the top of Čertova hora you can admire views of the Jizera Mountains and Poland. Thanks to its location the snow lasts long into spring – the local red slope is nicknamed the Harrachov Glacier. Night skiing is available regularly.

Cross-country SkiingStart directly from the town centre to all-day ridge tours or shorter loops around Harrachov. There are 12 start points; take the skibus to Polish Jakuszyce as well. Climb via Terex or Kladová cesta, or take the cable car to Čertova hora and enjoy ridge trails. The stadium offers lit tracks until 9 PM.

Ski TouringHarrachov is a great base for ski touring – simple loops for beginners, race tracks for experts and rental shops ready to help. Routes 1–3 to Čertova hora are open only until 4 PM due to slope grooming afterwards.
