The Tanvald railway company is preparing many events for 2022 on the only Czech cog line. You can look forward to special trains and a rich accompanying program at the station in Kořenov

The special trains along the steepest Czech line will be transported by one of the two preserved unique engine rack locomotives of the T426.0 series, nicknamed "Austrian". The special trains will feature Balm passenger cars from the 1960s, including the historic motor car M240.056 nicknamed "Singrovka" and the Balm Bistro buffet car.

Steam locomotives, historical and current engine locomotives will appear at some events.

You can buy tickets for special trains of the Tanvald Railway Company directly on the train or at the station in Tanvald. We will also sell tickets for some journeys at the station in Kořenov. We recommend early booking for larger groups.
